Role Purpose
The Service Coordinator (Fresher) will support the after-sales service team in ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience. This role focuses on assisting in scheduling service visits, managing communication between customers and engineers, and maintaining basic service records. The coordinator will learn to balance efficiency, teamwork, and customer satisfaction while building a strong foundation in service operations.
1. ROLE STRUCTURE (Customer Experience Focus)
A. Key Responsibilities - Supporting Service Operations
Assist in responding to customer service requests and inquiries in a polite and timely manner.
Help in planning and coordinating field service engineer visits as per customer convenience.
Maintain communication with customers regarding service schedules and updates.
Support in preparing basic service reports and daily activity updates.
B. Supportive Tasks - Learning Transparency and Coordination
Update and maintain service records and reports in Excel or the internal system.
Follow up with customers for service feedback and maintain records of service completion.
Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts or material requirements.
Learn to track service turnaround times and customer satisfaction levels
C. Departmental Learning - Building Process Understanding
Work closely with the Service Manager and engineers to understand service operations.
Assist in maintaining organized documentation such as job sheets, reports, and AMC records.
Participate in creating simple process checklists to improve coordination and communication.
Learn to analyze service data and prepare summaries for internal meetings.
D. Customer Support - Building Confidence and Communication
Communicate courteously with customers before and after service visits.
Gather customer feedback to help improve the service experience.
Support the service team in resolving minor coordination or documentation issues.
Participate in internal training to develop technical awareness and customer-handling skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Graduate (B.Sc. / B.Com. / BBA) with 0-3 years of experience in a
customer service coordination
role.
Background in engineering equipment, capital goods, or industrial products is an added advantage.
Must demonstrate
a customer-first attitude, ownership mindset, and attention to detail
.
Should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, email etiquette, and digital reporting.
Comfortable working in a
fast-paced, accuracy-driven service environment
.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
