The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing daily service operations, coordinating between customers, technicians, the purchase team, and the operations core group. This role ensures proper scheduling, timely service execution, accurate documentation, AMC handling, and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate newly closed service and project jobs for scheduling in coordination with the purchase and technical teams.
Handle incoming service enquiries and schedule technical visits based on priority and resource availability.
Coordinate with the purchase team for material availability and with the technical team for manpower and work scheduling.
Monitor technician movement, job progress, and completion status, and provide operational support.
Support technicians with service charges, billing procedures, and OEM coordination when required.
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding schedules, delays, and work updates.
Manage AMC calling, renewals, documentation, and service visit scheduling.
Identify upselling opportunities during service interactions and share potential leads with the sales team.
Maintain accurate records of service jobs, reports, job sheets, and AMC status.
Ensure smooth coordination among operations, purchase, technical, service, and sales teams.
