The Service Coordinator is responsible for handling service calls and ensuring smooth coordination between customers, service technicians, and suppliers. The role involves scheduling service visits, tracking work status, coordinating spare part dispatches, and ensuring timely closure of service calls.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive service calls and register complaints from customers
Assign service calls to technicians and plan their daily schedules
Coordinate with technicians for site visits, job updates, and closures
Follow up on open service calls to ensure timely resolution
Coordinate with suppliers for spare parts and dispatches
Track dispatch status and ensure correct material reaches on time
Update customers regularly on service status
Maintain service records, reports, and basic documentation
Support the service team with day-to-day coordination activities
Skills & Requirements:
Good communication and coordination skills
Basic knowledge of computers (Excel, email, service systems)
Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow-ups
Organized and detail oriented
Customer focused attitude
Prior experience in service coordination or customer support is preferred
