Maintain cleanliness in the canteen area including tables, counters, and service areas.
Wash utensils, trays, and dishes as per hygiene standards.
Ensure garbage is disposed of properly and the canteen is kept free of pests.
Support Kitchen Operations:
Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks like peeling, cutting, or transporting supplies.
Refill water containers, serve food during peak hours, and restock service counters.
Customer Interaction:
Greet staff and visitors politely and respond to food service queries.
Follow instructions given by the supervisor or kitchen team promptly and respectfully.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow hospital safety and hygiene protocols strictly.
Wear uniform and protective gear (cap, gloves, apron) during working hours.
Report any issues related to food quality, cleanliness, or equipment to the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 8th or 10th standard pass (educational requirement may vary).
Prior experience in a hospital or institutional canteen preferred but not mandatory.
Basic understanding of food hygiene.
