The prime function of this role is to act as a Subject matter expert, and customer strategy liaison, ensuring the effective management, operation and development of the customers network, demonstrating in depth expertise of the technical solution, specializing in all technologies.

What you will do
  • Manage all incidents raised through the ticketing tool or on customer request.
  • Ensuring all major incidents and events that are reviewed within the NOC, whilst opportunities to benefit from lessons learnt are utilised to their maximum potential. Driving completion of actions identified and leading the team to employ the same mind-set
  • Document new resolutions identified.
  • Develop & maintain solutions based on automation use case candidates.
  • Investigation of the possible source of problems for the automation components\xe2\x80\x8b
  • Improve and drive recovery processes
  • Provide domain expertise to domain support and automated operations team
  • Provide domain expertise to automation and analytics team to support analytics and automation use cases
  • Develop, maintain & improve automated Service Delivery methodologies.
  • Performs trend analysis to proactively detect possible failures. This shall ensure restoration and repair as a result of its own analysis or when prompted by automated operations or domain support Service Function processes.
  • Own and optimising the operational interface with 3rd party vendors, reporting on vendor performance, risks and highlights, and driving improvements which reduce the time taken to resolve impacts or risks to service and/or proactive management of the network
  • Act as the \xe2\x80\x9cservice champion\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cguardian of the network\xe2\x80\x9d, engaging customers and suppliers to ensure design/TTO and change activities are following best practice, meeting operational acceptance criteria and reducing the risk to the network/service.
  • Guarantee that Ericsson delivers a technical solution in accordance to the agreed change request (specification) and in co-operation with the customer, assuring that changes are correctly implemented without causing any negative impact on the availability of the service
  • The overall E2E technical architecture of the Service. Deep understanding and knowledge of the Service and underpinning applications, infrastructure and data analytics that supports it, including competence in Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation of Data Analytics.
  • The technical planning and design of a New Service, or change / update to an existing Service. Includes necessary configuration design for the applications and infrastructure. and Service Catalogue Management.
  • The technical management of the Service throughout its lifecycle. Includes roadmap, change / release management, demand and capacity management, deployment, and termination, along with the required testing and evaluation of the Service to support the customer experience.
  • Support the Service Operations Governance both internally and with the customer for the Service Performance in the contract, to also include Program & Demand Management
  • Responsible for identification and assessment of risks within the Network/service
You will bring
  • Interface with Customer, MSCLT, SDU SL Operate, Service Owner, SDU Customer Support, Technical Authority, E2E Service Experts - End to end leads to ensure timely project deliverables and Operations support
  • Implementations of activities related to 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies
  • Expertise required with respect to Nokia, Huawei, Ericsson
  • Degree in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication or equivalent
  • Good understanding of Network Architecture in technologies of 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G
  • Good understanding of interface/protocol level analysis like Gn, Gb, Gp, Gx, Gy, Iu-CS, Iu-PS, S5, S8, S11, S1-U, S1-C, etc.
  • Good E2E domain knowledge, call flows, network nodes & its functions
  • Mobile Telecommunications knowledge with telephony switching principles, transport networks, access networks, traffic concept, telecommunication networks & signaling, voice and data flows, value Added services
  • KPI formulae, KPI degradation and KPI troubleshooting
  • Analytical and synthesis capabilities
  • Solid knowledge of operation and troubleshooting of multivendor telecommunication equipment\'s
  • Knowledge of dashboarding & visualization tool. (Power BI, Tableau etc.,)
  • Good Understanding of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Cloud technologies
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Scripting
  • Core and access network performance / configuration parameters and their interpretation and usage.
  • Support and supply processes.

  • Education: B.E / B.Tech. in Electronics & Communications.
