The Service Architecture Manager is responsible for driving key strategic programs such as SDE WOR/Automation programs, MSN CRA initiatives, R&D/Customer projects & other special initiatives (Impact programs) directly improving MSN cost metrics, AAA maturity & uplifting the existing capabilities in line with EOE objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving key strategic programs such as AI/ML initiatives, Product Conceptualization & roadmaps, SDE programs across AAA streams.
Responsible for driving MSN CRA initiatives, R&D/Customer projects, and other tactical programs.
Responsible for execution of MSN Strategy in contracts (or globally) and ensure desired outcomes to enhance AAA maturity & uplifting the existing capabilities.
On a day-to-day basis, Service Architecture Manager will work on tasks such as:
Drive prioritized improvement initiatives in key strategic and operational areas driving MSN cost metrics in line with Ericsson Project Mgmt. guidelines.
Execute value pack-based AI/ML Initiatives in close alignment with MSN portfolio team.
Responsible for driving new business ideas from conceptualization to reality evolving around Process, People, Tools, and Data.
Provide thought leadership by researching best practices, conducting experiments & collaborating with industry leaders.
Execute strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders to align Service Management strategy with business priorities, current threat landscape & technology developments.
Communicate E2E Service Management strategy to relevant stakeholders prioritizing changes and opportunities based on Customer Experience, cost, risk, and benefit to the Ericsson business.
Responsible for Budget Planning and Allocation, Forecasting and Financial Reporting ensuring program costs are within the prescribed limits.
Continuously drive for efficiency, improvements, and excellence in Service Delivery.
Set up strong governance & reporting at all levels on a regular basis for the assigned projects.
Risk Management, mitigation planning & proper governance for each program under their responsibility. Influence business decisions with risk vs cost of doing nothing.
Required Experience:
Degree in Engineering or Equivalent (ECE/CSE/IT) / MBA.
Around 14+ years of total experience with 10+ years of experience in Telecom Operations (vendor and/or service provider).
Experience of leading strategic initiatives in AI/ML & Automation streams
Previous experience from working with Project Management and/or Service Management functions in Managed Services.
Management experience (5+ years).
Technical Competence:
Strong knowledge and experience or should have worked in Telecom Operations.
Knowledge and experience of working in Project Management and/or Service Management functions.
Certification in Project Mgmt. Frameworks (PMP etc.) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge on Ericsson Policies, Directives, and Guidelines.
Good understanding of SLA and WLA/OLA.
Non-Technical Competence:
Highly developed leadership and change management skills, influencing and leading by example.
Ability to simplify, good sense for details as well as high level thought leadership.
Customer oriented and business minded - has a consultative approach and focus on profitability.
