Position Overview

The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. The role involves understanding customer concerns, coordinating vehicle service activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely communication and service quality. This is an entry-level position suitable for fresh graduates or diploma holders passionate about automobiles and customer service.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Interaction

Greet customers and understand their vehicle complaints or service needs.

Record service requirements clearly on job cards.

Provide accurate service estimates and timelines.

Keep customers informed about service progress and completion.

Handle basic queries related to vehicle maintenance and service schedules.

Job Card & Vehicle Coordination

Open job cards and forward them to the workshop floor.

Coordinate with technicians and floor supervisors for service completion.

Verify that all requested jobs are completed before vehicle delivery.

Assist in vehicle inspection during delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.

Communication & Follow-up

Update customers on additional work, costs, or delays during service.

Conduct follow-up calls after delivery to ensure satisfaction.

Handle minor customer complaints with courtesy and escalate serious concerns.

Documentation & MIS

Maintain service records and ensure data accuracy in DMS/ERP systems.

Support the preparation of daily service reports and performance summaries.

Product Knowledge & Learning

Stay updated on product features, service procedures, and warranty policies.

Participate in OEM and internal training programs for skill enhancement.

Key Skills & Competencies

Excellent verbal communication and customer-handling skills.

Good understanding of automobiles and basic technical knowledge.

Positive attitude, patience, and problem-solving approach.

Ability to multitask and coordinate between teams.

Basic computer proficiency (Excel, DMS entry, emails).

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering; Graduate with interest in automotive service. Experience: 0-1 year (Freshers encouraged to apply). Language Proficiency: English, Hindi, and local language.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
