The Service Advisor acts as the main link between customers and the workshop. They are responsible for understanding customer needs, coordinating vehicle servicing, ensuring quality repairs, and delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and understand their vehicle service or repair needs.
Prepare accurate job cards and service estimates.
Explain repair details, costs, and timelines to customers clearly.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and proper completion of service jobs.
Keep customers updated on the progress and completion status of their vehicles.
Conduct final inspection before vehicle delivery to ensure all requested work is completed.
Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain service records and ensure billing accuracy.
Promote value-added services, accessories, and maintenance packages.
Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2-5 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automobile dealership or workshop.
Strong technical knowledge of vehicles two-wheelers depending on company.
Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Computer proficiency (DMS, MS Office, CRM software).
