A Service Advisor acts as the communication link between customers and the service department. They understand customer concerns, recommend appropriate vehicle services, prepare job cards, coordinate with technicians, and ensure timely delivery with high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and understand their vehicle service needs or complaints.
Record customer concerns accurately and prepare the job card.
Explain service procedures, estimated costs, and delivery time.
Provide service reminders and follow up with customers for approvals.
Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair.
Monitor the progress of vehicles throughout the service process.
Update customers if additional work is required and get approval.
Prepare and maintain job cards, service records, and inspection reports.
Generate estimates, invoices, and explain charges to customers.
Ensure all warranty and insurance documentation is processed correctly.
Conduct vehicle delivery with a detailed explanation of the work done.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure quick resolution.
Conduct post-service follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.
Follow company policies, safety standards, and service process protocols.
Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field (preferred).
Good knowledge of vehicle systems and service procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle pressure and multitask.
Computer proficiency (DMS/CRM, MS Office).
