Job Description

A Service Advisor acts as the primary contact between customers and the service department. They understand customer vehicle concerns, coordinate service operations, and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



Greet customers and understand their service and repair requirements. Record customer concerns accurately in the job card. Explain recommended services, repair needs, and maintenance schedules. Provide clear cost estimates, timelines, and service options. Inspect vehicles along with the customer to identify issues. Open job cards and assign work to technicians. Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of repairs. Coordinate with the workshop team for parts availability and technical clarifications. Conduct final quality checks before vehicle delivery. Keep customers updated on job status, cost changes, or additional repair needs. Explain completed work, invoices, and warranty coverage at the time of delivery. Schedule follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate service records and job cards. Generate invoices and handle payment processes. Address customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed. Promote service packages, AMC, and value-added services.

Required Skills and Qualifications



Diploma/Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic technical knowledge of automobiles. Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks. Proficiency in DMS/ERP systems and documentation. Freshers also can apply
