The Service Advisor acts as the main link between customers and the service department. They are responsible for understanding the customer's vehicle issues, scheduling service appointments, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring that vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the customer's satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers courteously and listen to their vehicle concerns.
Record and verify customer complaints, and create accurate job cards.
Explain repair details, service estimates, and time required for completion.
Coordinate with workshop technicians and monitor job progress.
Update customers regularly about vehicle status and additional repair needs.
Prepare service invoices and ensure timely vehicle delivery
Promote service packages, extended warranties, and accessories.
Maintain service records and follow up for repeat business.
Ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service reception area.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
1-3 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a related automotive service role.
Strong communication and customer handling skills.
Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and repair processes.
