The Service Advisor acts as the main point of contact between customers and the service department. They are responsible for understanding customer needs, scheduling service appointments, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring a smooth and satisfying service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and understand their vehicle service requirements.
Prepare job cards and record customer complaints accurately.
Provide estimates for repair costs and time required.
Communicate with the workshop team to ensure timely completion of work.
Keep customers informed on job status, additional repairs, and delivery timelines.
Ensure all service documentation is properly maintained.
Conduct vehicle delivery with explanation of work performed and charges.
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
Promote additional services, maintenance packages, and accessories.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Proven experience as a Service Advisor in an automobile dealership or service center.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Computer literacy (DMS, MS Office, etc.).
