Job Description

A Service Advisor acts as the crucial link between customers and the service/mechanic team, handling vehicle drop-offs, diagnosing needs, explaining repairs/costs, providing estimates, updating clients, and coordinating parts/payments for maintenance and repair services at dealerships or garages, focusing on customer satisfaction and clear communication. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

Greeting customers, understanding vehicle issues, explaining maintenance/repairs in simple terms, answering questions.

Liaison:

Communicating customer needs to technicians and relaying technician findings back to the customer.

Estimates & Approvals:

Providing cost and time estimates for work, getting customer approval for additional repairs.

Administrative Tasks:

Scheduling appointments, updating customer records, managing work orders, processing payments.

Sales:

Recommending additional products, services, and maintenance plans (upselling).
Essential Skills:

Strong communication (listening, explaining). Basic automotive knowledge. Problem-solving & customer focus. Sales & upselling ability. Time management & computer literacy.
Work Environment:

Car dealerships, independent garages, vehicle service centers, fleet maintenance.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
