About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused
Service Advisor
to join a reputed automobile dealership in Oman. The ideal candidate will act as the key link between customers and the service team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, accurate diagnostics communication, and smooth workflow in the service department.
Key Responsibilities1. Customer Handling & Communication
Greet customers and understand their vehicle concerns and service requirements.
Provide clear explanations of repair procedures, timelines, and service recommendations.
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding job progress, additional findings, and delivery time.
2. Service Estimation & Job Card Preparation
Prepare accurate
service estimates
, repair costs, and required parts list.
Create detailed
job cards
capturing customer complaints and technician observations.
Obtain customer approval for additional jobs when required.
3. Workshop Coordination
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely diagnosis, repairs, and service completion.
Prioritize job schedules based on urgency and workload.
Ensure all required parts and materials are available before job initiation.
4. Quality Assurance & Final Delivery
Verify completed work to ensure it meets dealership quality standards.
Conduct final inspection and ensure all customer concerns are addressed.
Deliver the vehicle to the customer with clear explanation of the work done and upcoming maintenance reminders.
5. Documentation & Record Maintenance
Maintain updated
service records
, repair history, and customer interaction logs.
Ensure accurate documentation for warranty jobs and insurance claims.
Update the service management system with job status and relevant details.
Skills & Competencies Required
Strong technical knowledge of automobiles
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to prepare estimates and interpret repair requirements
Good coordination and multitasking ability
Proficiency in job card handling and service documentation
Team-player with a professional and positive attitude
