The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact for customers in the service department, ensuring a smooth and efficient service process. This role involves understanding customer concerns, explaining services, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and listen to their service needs or complaints.
Open job cards and record details accurately in the system.
Provide service cost estimates and get customer approval.
Coordinate with workshop technicians and monitor service progress.
Update customers regarding job status, additional work, and delivery timelines.
Ensure vehicles are delivered on time after proper quality checks.
Handle warranty claims and explain the coverage to customers (if applicable).
Maintain service records and follow up with customers for feedback.
Promote service offers, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and accessories.
Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues to the Service Manager if required.
