The Body Shop Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the workshop. They are responsible for understanding customer needs, preparing repair estimates, coordinating repair jobs with technicians, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and understand their vehicle repair requirements.
Prepare accurate job cards and repair estimates.
Coordinate with insurance surveyors for claim approvals.
Communicate repair status and cost updates to customers.
Ensure proper documentation for all repairs and claims.
Monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion.
Conduct final quality checks before vehicle delivery.
Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Support workshop team with administrative and technical coordination.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
1-3 years of experience in a service or body shop role (automobile industry preferred).
Good knowledge of vehicle body repair processes and insurance claim procedures.
Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
Computer proficiency (MS Office, DMS/ERP systems).
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
