Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner. Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations when requested. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Serve food and drinks in accordance with cafe and bar standards. Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained throughout service. Handle guest requests and resolve complaints promptly or escalate to the supervisor when needed. Upsell menu items, promotions, and special offers to maximize revenue. Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age before serving alcohol. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all service areas. Collaborate with bartenders, kitchen, and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations. Process bills, accept payments, and return change/cards accurately. Assist in opening, closing, and shift duties as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
