Position: Restaurant Server

Reports to: : Restaurant Manager / Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing exceptional guests service to guests by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a timely and professional manner. Servers are the face of the restaurant and are expected to maintain a warm, friendly, and attentive approach at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating (if needed). Present menus, explain dishes or daily specials, and answer questions about the menu or restaurant. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Ensure timely and correct delivery of food and beverages. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns promptly and professionally. Clear and reset tables efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area and service stations. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth operation and communication. Process bills and handle payments accurately. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant or guest service role is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
