Job Summary
As a part of our service team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering outstanding guest experiences. Whether serving food & drinks, managing the bar, supervising staff, or leading the restaurant, you will represent the warmth and excellence of Indian Desire.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests warmly.
Present menu, explain specials, and answer guest queries.
Take food & beverage orders accurately and process them in the POS system.
Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly.
Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve concerns professionally.
Clear and reset tables, maintain cleanliness and organization.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth operations.
Upsell menu items and promote specials.
For senior positions (Captain/Manager):
Supervise and train service staff.
Ensure high service standards and smooth daily operations.
Handle guest escalations and manage reservations.
Oversee inventory, supplies, and compliance with hygiene/safety standards.
Support financial goals and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Prior restaurant / hospitality experience preferred (required for Captain/Manager roles).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, teamwork, and ability to multitask.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Leadership skills and managerial experience (for Captain/Manager roles).
