Partner with the best As a Server Tech Services Engineer, you will work on troubleshooting hardware and network issues on Akamai servers across Asia Pacific . This infrastructure delivers Akamai\'s Content Distribution Network as well as our Internet Security products. As a Server Tech Services Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Troubleshooting and supporting customer and platform related issues, including Troubleshooting Hardware related issues (server, router, storage, switch).
• Working closely with field technicians, ISPs, customers, equipment vendors, and internal operations and engineering staff. During post and pre-install stages of deployment projects.
• Working with the hardware engineering team to identify and resolve different types of hardware issues occurring after the equipment are deployed
• Monitoring hardware failure patterns and proactively reporting to Hardware Engineering and vendors
• Documenting existing processes with cross-functional teams and determine efficiencies to reduce network downtime.

Do what you love To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelor\'s Degree (or equivalent) in technology or related field or relevant Professional Experience
• Have good knowledge of server hardware technologies such as types of hard drives, RAMs, motherboards and RAID
• Have Knowledge and experience working with other networking equipment including but not limited to routers and switches.
• Be familiar with the Internet, including technologies and fundamental protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP and HTTP
• Demonstrate experience with UNIX/Linux Operating System
• Able to Understand SQL query execution plan.
