The Role

Server Engineer--also known as sysadmins--are information technology (IT) professionals who make sure an organization's computer systems are functioning and meet the needs of the organization. Engineer is highly skilled in solving any technical problems, including servers, firewall configuration and account setup, clarifying the doubts that customers raise with regard to products or services through their calls and emails, and resolving their issues on priority

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Work in India & US Time zone - rotational shifts
• Automate the operational tasks for AWS Servers
• Implement Azure AD to US GEO along with GPO's and Securities guidelines
• Maintaining local VMWare servers and Backup's
• Maintaining NAS, Maria, SQL Databases and data stores
• Optimizing user NT ID manual problems with SSO
• Maintain overall compliance ration >95% (Includes - Servers, Workstations)
• Active Directory users' creation, maintain along with SSL VPN
• Monitor syslog, even logs for Firewall, Servers
• Technical guidance and support for India & US employees to resolve problems in servers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to resolve problems or malfunctions in servers, applications, ssl vpn , firewall , hardware and software.
• Document, evaluate, resolve, and track inquiries pertaining to the functional operation of all installed hardware and software products in servers.
• Coordinate new user access, NT ID, SSL VPN ID Creation & setup with various support groups
• Collaborate with vendors and systems support units in problem identification and resolution.
• Coordinate with the end-user community, team members and various support groups when major problems are suspected.

What You Bring to The Team:

To be successful in this role, we believe that you need to possess the following attributes.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent on the job experience.
• System Administration with around 5 - 9 Years of experience
• Should have experience in Office 365 administration
• Experience with VMware ESXI
• Experience in VM ware Backup's, AWS Backup's
• Experience in AWS Cloud Administration
• Experience in Azure Cloud Administration
• Linux administration is added advantage
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server to administer health related applications and configuring and supporting the OS
• Knowledge of a Windows Domain and Servers, including Forest, Trees, trusts, AD FSMO roles, etc.
• Develop scripts to improve automation, reduce daily tasks, increase efficiency
• In-depth knowledge and experience with domain controllers, Active Directory objects and OU structures, GPO mapping and administration, PowerShell, DNS, remote access.
• Expertise in Windows 2008, 2012,2016,2019 System administration
• Experience in Application and production support.
• Understanding of Maria DB, SQL and DB admin knowledge.
• Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Patch Management,
• User management to create and manage users, groups, renaming groups, deleting groups
• Monitoring, configuring and maintaining Windows systems and servers.
• Proficient in ITIL processes in managing incidents, problems, change management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and effective organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and train others.
• Should be flexible to work in an operational environment, rotational shifts and on call schedule.
• Identify incidents, diagnose and resolve problems, and assist with storage usage and features
• Perform reliable, secure backup and recovery across the enterprise in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures
• Working knowledge of all NAS/SAN protocols and how to implement
• Experience working in a backup environment using software supporting multiple operating systems
• Experience performing data restores and troubleshooting failed backups
• Perform back-ups, software installations, and monitoring of system health.
• Troubleshoot Windows servers & Linux
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating more advanced issues to the client and vendor
• Advanced trouble- shooting skills and be able to identify issue by analyzing logs
• Review system and application logs & scheduled jobs
