to join our hospital's kitchen and food delivery team. You will play a key role in safely delivering meals to patients, ensuring hygiene standards are followed, and assisting in basic kitchen duties as required. This role is crucial to maintaining patient care, comfort, and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver meals and beverages to patient rooms according to dietary requirements and meal schedules
Ensure correct food items are served to the correct patients, following dietary instructions from nutrition staff
Collect used dishes, trays, and utensils after meals and return them to the kitchen
Assist in setting up and preparing food trays and carts
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the food service areas, including proper sanitation of carts and trays
Follow all infection control, hygiene, and safety protocols
Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed
Requirements:
Minimum education: [10th pass / 12th pass preferred]
Previous experience in a hospital or institutional kitchen is an advantage
Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
Ability to read and follow instructions (meal tickets, diet charts)
Good physical stamina - ability to be on your feet and push food carts for long periods
Polite, respectful, and patient-friendly behavior
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
