Position Title: Steward / Waiter Position Summary: We are looking for a hard-working steward to be responsible for ensuring all sanitation standards are met. The steward will attend to customer needs, assist wait staff, ensure all stations are well stocked, and assist in keeping all areas clean and sanitary. You will clean and put away dishes, clean floors and food preparation areas, refill supplies, wipe tables, and take out the trash. To be successful as a steward, you should be committed to working hard, and have the physical stamina to be on your feet and moving for the duration of your shifts. You should be friendly and helpful to customers and have strong team working skills. As a restaurant Steward you are responsible to promote and ensure guest satisfaction, maintain a safe and sanitary work environment and ensure only the highest quality products are being served. Steward Duties and Responsibilities: Always greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner. Always thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit. Assist guest with table reservation. Assist guest while seating. Serve Food and Drinks to Guest. Ensure guest are serviced within specified time. Has a good knowledge of menu and presentation standards. Speak with guests and staff using clear and professional language, and answer phone calls using appropriate telephone etiquette. Able to answer any questions regarding menu and assist with menu selections. Able to anticipate any unexpected guest need and reacts promptly and tactfully. Always applies service techniques correctly at all times, and serving Food & Beverage items with enthusiasm. Serve food courses and beverages to guests. Set tables according to type of event and service standards. Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait and product availability. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Responsible for clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, Cutlery, glass, etc. throughout the shift. Present accurate final bill to guest and process payment. Work with fellow staffs and manager to ensure that the restaurant achieves its full potential. Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc. Any other duties related to food and beverage service assigned by the manager. Prerequisites: Should have pleasing personality. Excellent guest service skill. Good knowledge of food and beverage service. Education: Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field. Familiar with Point of sale systems, MS office, Property management systems etc. Experience: 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of work experience in Food & Beverage gained from a reputed property an advantage. Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent Salary: 910,000.00 - 915,000.00 per month Benefits:
