Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Server & Network Administrator with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining server infrastructure and network systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of the IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, ensuring system availability and performance.

- Network Management: Set up and manage routers, switches, and firewalls; ensure secure and stable network connectivity.

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve server, network, and hardware/software issues.

- Security Implementation: Configure and monitor firewalls, access controls, and other security tools to protect systems and data.

- Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously monitor server/network performance and respond to incidents or performance issues.

- Data Backup & Recovery: Manage regular backups and maintain disaster recovery plans.

- Documentation: Maintain updated documentation of system configurations and processes.

- User Support: Provide technical support and guidance to internal users and IT team.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments

- Good understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP) and network hardware

- Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, routers

- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in server and network administration

Preferred:

- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+)

- Experience working with vendors for hardware/software support

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
