Key Responsibilities

Operating Systems Administration

Manage and maintain Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu Server, Debian).

Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Hyper-V.

Automation & Scripting

Write and maintain Bash and PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks.

Leverage Python for advanced automation and system management.

Networking & Security

Network Configuration & Troubleshooting

Configure and manage network interfaces, routing tables, VLANs, and static/dynamic IP assignments.

Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues using tools like ping, traceroute, tcpdump, netstat, and wireshark.

Core Networking Services

Maintain and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, NTP, and VPN solutions.

Administer reverse proxies, load balancers, and SSL/TLS certificates for secure application delivery.

Firewall & Access Control

Manage host-based firewalls.

Implement VPNs, access control lists (ACLs), and segmentation for secure traffic flow.

Identity & Authentication Security

Administer Active Directory, LDAP, and related authentication protocols.

Manage role-based access, user provisioning/deprovisioning, and secure key management (SSH, API keys, certificates).
