Job summary

The Server Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's cloud and on-premise server infrastructure, with a primary focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role ensures the stability, security, and optimal performance of all cloud-based systems. Key responsibilities include deploying and managing servers and applications, configuring and overseeing firewall and security policies, and optimizing cloud resource usage

Required skills and qualifications Technical skills

AWS Services:

Strong, hands-on experience with core AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, and Cloud Watch.

Networking:

In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and routing.

Security:

Experience with AWS security services (WAF, Shield, Firewall Manager) and security best practices.

Operating Systems:

Administration experience with Linux (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu) and/or Windows Server.

Scripting:

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.

Automation Tools:

Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools like Cloud Formation, Terraform, or Ansible.

Deployment:

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
