We are looking for a Server Administrator to manage and secure our IT infrastructure, with expertise in Linux server administration and email server configuration. The role includes installation, monitoring, security hardening, and ensuring high availability of servers and email services.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
Monitor server performance, logs, and system health.
Configure and manage
email servers (Postfix, Exim, Sendmail, Zimbra, Microsoft Exchange, etc.)
.
Manage DNS, MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for secure email delivery.
Implement server and email security (firewalls, SSL/TLS, spam filtering).
Perform backups, disaster recovery, and patch management.
Automate administrative tasks using Bash/Python/Ansible.
Troubleshoot server and email-related issues promptly.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Linux Server/System Administrator.
Strong knowledge of email server configuration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with DNS, MX records, SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 protocols.
Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and server hardening.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
Relevant certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Exchange, etc.) are a plus.
