Job Description

Server Hardware:

Basic knowledge of server hardware installation, Operating system installation etc.

System Administration:

Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related hardware.

Security:

Implement and manage security protocols, including regular patching and vulnerability analysis, to protect the server environment.

Monitoring and Performance:

Proactively monitor server health and performance, using tools to identify and resolve bottlenecks, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve server-related issues, network problems, and user support requests, sometimes working on-call.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

Ensure regular data backups are performed and that disaster recovery plans are in place and tested. Understanding of various type of back like full, Incremental, differential etc.

User and Access Management:

Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within Active Directory and Group Policy.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate documentation of server configurations, maintenance activities, and procedures.

Networking:

Basic knowledge of LAN, WAN concept. Knowledge of DNS and DHCP

Mailing Solution:

Exchange Server administration and trouble shooting.

Virtualisation:

Hyper-V administration

Storage:

Basic understanding of SAN storage. Types of RAID etc.

Antivirus:

Knowledge of enterprise level antivirus server. Should have 5 to 7 years in the above relevant field experience

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
