We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to lead and manage Windows Server Administration and Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Windows-based infrastructure across enterprise environments. This role involves hands-on technical leadership, proactive system monitoring, incident resolution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business-critical systems.



You Will Make an Impact By:

Key Responsibilities:

Windows Server Management:

+ Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
+ Perform regular patching, updates, and system health checks.
+ Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Certificate Services.

Infrastructure Operations:

+ Monitor server performance and availability using enterprise tools (e.g., SCOM, SolarWinds).
+ Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS, and application-level issues.
+ Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

Automation & Scripting:

+ Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks.
+ Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices where applicable.

Security & Compliance:

+ Enforce security policies and hardening standards.
+ Support vulnerability remediation and compliance audits (e.g., ISO, SOC, GDPR).

Collaboration & Documentation:

+ Work closely with network, storage, and application teams.
+ Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and incidents.

Project Leadership:

+ Lead or support infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
+ Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.



Skills You Bring:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years of experience in Windows Server administration in enterprise environments. Strong expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server roles/features. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. ITIL certification or understanding of ITSM processes preferred. Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, AZ-104) are highly desirable.


Preferred Skills: (Optional)

Experience with SCCM, WSUS, and endpoint management. Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault). Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and migration strategies. Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24x7 operational support model.
