Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an SEO Specialist located in Mumbai at Capsicum Mediaworks. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies, optimizing websites for search engines, implementing link-building campaigns, and analyzing performance to ensure improved search engine rankings.

Responsibilities:

Conduct SEO analysis and provide recommendations for website structure, blogs, and web pages.

Develop and implement effective link-building campaigns.

Monitor analytics dashboards and prepare SEO strategy recommendations.

Optimize websites for technical SEO elements, including .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, and site speed.

Implement local and long-tail search strategies for better rankings.

Stay updated on mobile SEO strategies like AMP and their impact on SEO.

Work closely with content teams to align SEO with content strategies.

Use Google services such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and Keyword Planner for SEO improvements.

Test websites for performance issues using tools like Google PageSpeed, GTMetrix, and Pingdom.

Prepare detailed SEO reports, audits, and recommendations for clients.

Participate in client meetings and calls to discuss SEO reports and strategies.

Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms and SEO trends.

Qualifications:

Maximum 2 years of experience in an agency managing SEO strategies for clients.

Proficiency in WordPress CMS and Yoast SEO Plugin.

Hands-on experience with tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, BuzzSumo, SimilarWeb, KWFinder.

Knowledge of technical SEO including site speed optimization and structured data.

Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office - Excel & Word).

Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
