The SEO Specialist will be responsible for improving website rankings, driving organic traffic, performing keyword research, optimizing content, and ensuring best SEO practices across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of SEO tools, and hands-on experience with on-page and off-page optimization.
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Page Optimization
Conduct keyword research and map keywords to content.
Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and content.
Improve site structure, URL optimization, internal linking, and schema.
Ensure content follows SEO guidelines and readability standards.
2. Off-Page Activities
Execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
Manage backlinks, guest posts, social bookmarking, and outreach.
Track and remove toxic/spam links.
3. Technical SEO
Conduct website audits to identify technical issues.
Improve page speed, mobile optimization, crawlability, and indexing.
Monitor sitemap, robots.txt, broken links, and canonical issues.
4. Analytics & Reporting
Track performance via Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
Prepare monthly SEO reports and performance dashboards.
Monitor keyword positions and organic traffic trends.
5. Collaboration
Coordinate with the content team for SEO-friendly content.
Work with developers to implement technical fixes.
Support digital campaigns with SEO insights.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
Familiarity with SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz.
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
SEO certification is a plus (Google, HubSpot, SEMrush).
