The SEO Executive will be responsible for improving the website's visibility and organic performance across search engines. The role includes keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing SEO best practices to drive traffic and conversions.
Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Page Optimization
Perform website audits and implement on-page recommendations.
Optimize meta tags, headings, URLs, schema markup, image alt tags, and internal linking.
Improve website content, readability, and keyword placement.
Off-Page Optimization
Execute link-building strategies including guest posting, directory submissions, and outreach.
Develop high-quality backlinks to improve domain authority and rankings.
Monitor and avoid toxic links.
Keyword & Competitor Research
Perform keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
Analyze competitor websites to identify best-performing keywords and link strategies.
Content & Website Management
Coordinate with content writers to develop SEO-friendly content.
Provide content briefs and optimization guidelines for blogs, landing pages, and websites.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track daily/weekly/monthly KPIs such as site ranking, traffic, impressions, and conversions.
Prepare performance analysis reports and provide insights for improvements.
Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools to monitor growth.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals.
Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Proficiency in SEO tools: Google Analytics, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
Basic understanding of HTML, website structure, and content optimization.
Good analytical, communication, and research skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Communication, or related field.
1-4 years of relevant SEO experience.
Prior experience in agency or EdTech/Corporate environment preferred.
