Job Description

Job Title: SEO & WordPress E-commerce Developer (with Paid Media Focus)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven individual to manage and enhance our online presence through a combination of website development, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and e-commerce growth strategies, with a focus on paid advertising channels like Facebook and Instagram Ads. The ideal candidate is a technical problem-solver with a strong grasp of digital marketing, specifically within the e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities

1. WordPress & E-commerce Development

Website Management:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performing, secure, and responsive WordPress websites, with a primary focus on the

WooCommerce

platform.

Technical Implementation:

Write clean, well-documented code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) for custom themes, plugins, and functionality to meet business requirements.

Optimization:

Continuously optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall performance for an optimal user experience (UX) and conversion rate.

Integration:

Manage and integrate third-party services, APIs, payment gateways, and essential e-commerce plugins.

Maintenance & Security:

Perform regular website backups, security checks, and platform/plugin updates to ensure optimal uptime and security.
2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Technical SEO:

Conduct regular technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data/Schema Markup) and collaborate with development to implement fixes.

On-Page SEO:

Optimize all on-page elements, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, and images for targeted e-commerce keywords and conversion.

Keyword Strategy:

Conduct in-depth keyword research for e-commerce products, categories, and supporting content (blog) to identify growth opportunities.

Monitoring & Reporting:

Use tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs) to track SEO performance, analyze traffic, rankings, and conversions, and provide actionable insights.

Content Collaboration:

Work with the content team to ensure all new product and blog content is fully optimized for search intent and SEO best practices.
3. Paid Media (Facebook & E-commerce Ads)

Ad Platform Management:

Set up, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns primarily on

Facebook and Instagram Ads

(Meta Ads Manager) to drive e-commerce sales and ROI.

Pixel & Tracking:

Ensure the Facebook Pixel, Conversion API, and other necessary tracking tools are correctly implemented on the WordPress/WooCommerce site for accurate campaign measurement and optimization.

Audience Strategy:

Develop and manage effective audience targeting strategies, including custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and re-marketing campaigns.

A/B Testing:

Design and execute A/B tests on ad creatives, copy, targeting, and landing pages to continuously improve campaign performance.

Budget Management:

Monitor ad spend daily, adjust bids, and manage campaign budgets to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven Experience:

[X] years of demonstrable experience in WordPress Development, specifically with

WooCommerce

for e-commerce.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Experience with theme customization and building custom WordPress functionality.

SEO Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO best practices and ability to translate data into optimization strategies.

Paid Media Knowledge:

Solid working knowledge of managing and optimizing campaigns in

Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram Ads)

, including setting up and troubleshooting the Facebook Pixel.

E-commerce Focused:

Deep understanding of the e-commerce sales funnel, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and user experience (UX) on online stores.

Analytics Tools:

Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and at least one major SEO tool (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).

Problem-Solver:

Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills across both website development and ad tracking.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical issues and marketing performance to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications

Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento). Experience with other PPC platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads). Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Yoast SEO).

Pay: ₹10,770.30 - ₹20,000.00 per month
