The SEO Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing effective SEO strategies to increase website traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance the overall online presence of the company. This role involves analyzing and optimizing website performance, researching keywords, and executing SEO campaigns across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy Development
:
Develop, implement, and manage on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and drive traffic.
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value keywords and trends.
Perform competitor analysis to develop strategies that improve website rankings and outperform competitors.
On-Page Optimization
:
Optimize website content, structure, and metadata (title tags, meta descriptions, headers, URLs) for search engines.
Implement SEO best practices for internal linking, image optimization, and page speed improvements.
Ensure content is aligned with target keywords while maintaining high readability and user experience.
Off-Page Optimization
:
Build quality backlinks and establish relationships with external websites for link-building opportunities.
Develop and execute outreach strategies to promote content and increase domain authority.
Analytics & Reporting
:
Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Track and measure key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis.
Content Strategy & Creation
:
Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-optimized blog posts, landing pages, and other website content.
Ensure that content is keyword-rich, relevant, and optimized for both search engines and the target audience.
Technical SEO
:
Conduct regular site audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content.
Optimize website speed, mobile-friendliness, and overall user experience (UX).
Implement structured data (Schema markup) and ensure search engines properly crawl and index the site.
Stay Updated with SEO Trends
:
Stay informed about the latest search engine algorithm changes, industry trends, and best practices.
Adapt SEO strategies based on changes in search engine algorithms and industry shifts.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (4-6years) as an SEO Specialist or in a similar digital marketing role.
Solid understanding of SEO principles and search engine algorithms.
Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website management systems (WordPress, Shopify, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and web analytics tools.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
