Social Media Optimization (SMO) Executive
who can create engaging content, execute result-driven strategies, and grow brand presence across platforms like
Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube
, and more.

As an
SMO Executive
, you will manage and optimize multiple client social media accounts. Your core focus will be on
increasing brand visibility, engagement, and followers organically
, with creative, customized strategies for each industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute
SMO strategies
tailored to individual clients and industries.
Plan and create
engaging posts, reels, stories, carousels
, and other visual content (coordination with design/content team if needed).
Optimize profiles across platforms:
Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter
, Pinterest, etc.
Grow follower base using organic tactics:
hashtags, timing, interaction, community engagement
, etc.
Schedule and manage daily/weekly posts using tools like
Buffer, Hootsuite, Later
, or
Meta Business Suite
.
Monitor insights, engagement, impressions, and reach to tweak strategies.
Collaborate with the SEO and Content teams for cross-channel synergy.
Stay up to date with
trending formats, algorithm changes
, and platform updates.
Respond to DMs, comments, and mentions (community management).
Prepare
monthly reports
on performance metrics and growth insights for clients.
Required Skills:
1-3 years of experience in
Social Media Management or SMO
Deep understanding of
organic social growth strategies
Creative mindset with eye for aesthetics, branding, and content flow
Strong command over English for post captions and hashtag strategy
Experience handling
multiple social media accounts across industries
Familiarity with analytics tools:
Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Studio
, etc.
Good to Have:
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator)
Knowledge of
paid promotions or boosting basics
Ability to edit short videos or reels (optional but a plus)
Previous agency experience managing
diverse client portfolios
