The SEO Specialist is responsible for enhancing website visibility and driving organic traffic by optimizing content, keywords, technical elements, Backlinks and overall user experience. This role involves working with teams to implement SEO strategies that improve search engine rankings and meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Keyword Research and Analysis
Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-impact search terms.
Analyze keyword trends, competitor keywords, and opportunities for growth.
On-Page Optimization
Optimize web page content, headers, meta descriptions, image alt text, and URLs.
Ensure on-page elements align with SEO best practices and targeted keywords.
Content Strategy and Implementation
Collaborate with content teams to create SEO-friendly content, including blogs, articles, landing pages, and more.
Develop content that enhances site relevance and user engagement.
Technical SEO
Conduct regular website audits to identify technical SEO issues (site speed, mobile-friendliness, schema markup, etc.).
Work with developers to address issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and XML sitemap updates.
Off-Page SEO and Link Building
Build backlinks from reputable websites to increase site authority.
Manage and improve social media signals and brand presence through outreach and link-building strategies.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) to track SEO performance metrics.
Generate and analyze reports on organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and ROI.
Competitor Analysis
Perform competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
Adapt strategies based on competitor insights and industry developments.
Stay Updated on SEO Trends
Keep up with search engine algorithm changes and SEO best practices.
Experiment with new tools, techniques, and industry developments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, or related field.
Proven experience in SEO, SEM, or digital marketing.
Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data reporting.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
