We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented
Search Engine Specialist
to optimize and manage our search engine visibility. The ideal candidate will be skilled in SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), keyword research, content strategy, and analytics. You will play a critical role in growing organic traffic, improving rankings
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
Conduct keyword research to guide content strategy.
Optimize website content, structure, and meta tags for improved rankings.
Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, and Ahrefs.
Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes (e.g., crawl errors, site speed, mobile usability, schema markup).
Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in all published content.
Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and SEO industry trends.
Identify backlink opportunities and oversee link-building efforts.
Conduct competitor analysis to uncover keyword and content gaps.
Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
Proficiency in SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
Knowledge of HTML and technical SEO best practices.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Google Analytics and/or HubSpot certification.
Experience with schema markup, site migrations, or international SEO.
Familiarity with basic web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
