Job Description

We are seeking a talented and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) specialist to join our team. An SEO (Search Engine Optimization) specialist is a digital marketing professional who focuses on improving a website's visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs) like Google and Bing. Their overall goal is to increase organic (non-paid) traffic to a website, which in turn can lead to more leads, sales, and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities



1. Strategy and Analysis



Keyword Research To research and monitor competitors' SEO strategies to identify opportunities and gaps in the market. This includes analyzing their keywords, backlinks, and overall search performance. To conduct regular technical and on-page audits of websites to identify and fix issues that may be affecting performance. This includes checking for broken links, correcting heading hierarchies, and ensuring proper URL structure. To track key performance indicators (KPIs) like organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates. They use analytics tools (like Google Analytics and Google Search Console) to analyze data and report on the effectiveness of their strategies to clients or internal teams.

2. On-Page SEO



To work with content creators to ensure that website content is optimized for both users and search engines. To ensure the website's technical aspects are optimized for search engine crawling and indexing. This includes improving site speed, mobile optimization, and fixing crawl errors. They often collaborate with web developers on these tasks.

3. Off-Page SEO



They develop and execute strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from other reputable websites.

4. Collaboration and Communication



To work closely with a variety of teams, including content creators, web developers, designers, and marketing professionals, to ensure that SEO best practices are integrated into all online activities. To explain complex SEO concepts and report on progress in a clear and understandable way to clients or internal stakeholders.

5. Continuous Learning



Staying Up-to-Date

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree along with certification in Digital Marketing or related field. Minimum 4 years of proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on campaign management and audience targeting. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console or similar platforms. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Creative thinker with a passion for understanding and engaging with youth culture. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:



Experience working in the education industry or similar youth-oriented industries. Certification in Google Ads, Meta Ads, or other relevant digital marketing platforms.
