Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles, strategies, and tactics, and a proven track record of driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings.

Responsibilities:

Technical SEO:

Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues that may hinder search engine visibility. Optimize website structure, code, and content for maximum crawlability and indexability by search engines. Implement structured data and schema markup to enhance search engine results page (SERP) features. Monitor and improve website speed and performance to ensure a positive user experience.

On-Page SEO:

Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms and phrases with high search volume and low competition. Optimize website content, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and body text, for target keywords. Create compelling and informative content that satisfies user intent and encourages engagement. Optimize internal linking structure to improve website navigation and distribute link equity.

Off-Page SEO:

Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites. Engage in outreach and relationship-building activities with other websites and influencers. Monitor and manage online reputation and brand mentions.

Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyze website traffic and keyword rankings using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools. Prepare regular reports on SEO performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations for improving SEO strategies and tactics.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency or in-house setting. Deep understanding of SEO principles, algorithms, and best practices. Proficiency in using SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Bonus Points:

Experience with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or Drupal. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with other digital marketing channels, such as social media, PPC, and email marketing.
