Job Description

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the SEO Specialist is responsible for for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve our website's visibility, drive organic traffic, and enhance user engagement. This role will also involve researching topics for marketing content, including competitor research.
Responsibilities
The SEO Specialist is responsible for:

• Conducting keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Optimizing website content, landing pages, and blog posts for search engines.
• Performing technical SEO audits and implement fixes (e.g., site speed, mobile usability, crawl errors).
• Monitoring and analyzing SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs
• Collaborating with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
• Building high-quality backlinks through outreach and partnerships.
• Researching competitors and report insights
• Researching and suggesting topics for blog and social media content according to industry trends and questions
• Staying up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
• Preparing regular performance reports and present insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Education & experience:

• 3+ years of experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.

• Professionnal knowledge & abilities:

• Fluent in English
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs
• Skilled in identifying content gaps and opportunities by evaluating top-performing competitor content.
• Proven experience conducting competitive SEO analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in competitor strategies.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
