We are seeking an experienced SEO to join our digital marketing team for both
traditional SEO
and the
next era of AI-powered search.
This role is ideal for someone who can
leverage AI, LLMs, and advanced SEO tools
to future-proof our strategies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve website visibility, drive organic traffic, and increase conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Predictive Analytics:
Utilize AI-driven insights to forecast trends, identify ranking opportunities, and automate SEO audits.
On-Page & Technical SEO:
Continue leadership on traditional aspects like site architecture, metadata, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, and site speed.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track, measure, and report performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz. Present actionable insights to management.
Link-Building & Outreach:
Build high-quality backlinks through ethical strategies to strengthen domain authority.
Local SEO:
Develop strategies to boost local visibility across key Canadian markets.
Team Collaboration:
Provide guidance to the marketing team and mentor junior SEO members.
Innovation:
Stay on top of algorithm updates and industry shifts, proactively adapting strategies to ensure long-term success.
Backlinking & Off-Page Optimization:
Develop, execute, and manage robust backlinking strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.
SEO Strategies Implementation:
Conduct in-depth keyword research and implement on-page strategies to enhance website visibility.
Technical SEO Audits:
Identify and resolve technical issues affecting site performance, including indexing, crawl errors, and page load times.
Competitor & Market Analysis:
Perform competitor benchmarking and market analysis to identify opportunities and refine SEO strategies.
Content Collaboration:
Work closely with the content team to create SEO-friendly content and optimize existing material for improved rankings.
Requirements
Proven track record
(2-4+ years) in SEO with demonstrable results in improving search rankings, organic traffic, and conversions.
Strong expertise in
technical SEO, content optimization, and local SEO.
Proficiency with leading SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.).
Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across teams.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
SEO certifications (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) are a strong plus.
