What you'll own
End-to-end SEO strategy & execution for traffic and revenue growth
Technical SEO: crawlability, log analysis, Core Web Vitals, site speed, canonicals, hreflang, sitemaps, robots, 404/redirect hygiene
Shopify SEO: collections, internal linking, faceted navigation, metafields, structured data (JSON-LD), PDP/PLP templates
Content SEO: keyword research (hub/cluster), topical authority, briefs, on-page optimization, E-E-A-T
Off-page & digital PR: white-hat link building, outreach, partnerships
Conversion & UX: CRO hypotheses, A/B ideas with marketing & product teams
Analytics/Reporting: GA4, GSC, Looker/Sheets dashboards, cohort & revenue attribution
Market & competitor tracking; IndexNow/Bing MC/Google MC hygiene; GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) readiness
Must-have qualifications
5+ years hands-on SEO (e-commerce mandatory)
Proven wins: grew non-brand organic traffic and revenue with case studies or screenshots
Strong Shopify experience (themes, metafields, schema, page speed fixes)
Expert with GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, GDS/Looker/Sheets, PageSpeed Insights/Lighthouse
Solid understanding of content quality, YMYL/E-E-A-T, and link-risk management
Comfortable collaborating with devs, content, and design; can write clear SEO specs
Nice to have
Experience with Shopify Apps (Avada/Yoast/Rich Snippets), IndexNow, Bing MC feeds
Basic HTML/CSS/JS familiarity; regex; server logs
Local SEO & marketplace SEO experience
