SEO & SEM Specialist

who can support our organic and paid search strategies to drive traffic, leads, and brand visibility in the education space.

Key Responsibilities

SEO (Search Engine Optimization):

Perform keyword research to target admission-related queries (e.g., "CBSE schools near me," "nursery admissions 2025"). Optimize school profile pages and admission landing pages for search visibility. Support technical SEO audits and on-page improvements. Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly blog topics and local school guides. Monitor rankings and traffic using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.

SEM (Search Engine Marketing):

Assist in setting up and managing Google Ads campaigns to promote schools and admission events. Write and test ad copies for high-converting search ads. Track campaign performance and suggest optimizations to improve CTR and ROI. Manage budgets and bidding strategies with guidance from the senior digital team.

Reporting & Collaboration:

Generate regular reports on SEO/SEM performance, traffic, and conversions. Work closely with the tech, content, and sales teams to align marketing efforts. Stay updated on digital trends in the education and admission space.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in SEO/SEM Familiarity with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and keyword research tools. Knowledge of basic HTML, CMS platforms (WordPress preferred), and on-page optimization. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Basic understanding of lead generation funnels. Should be based in Bangalore as this is a full time onsite job.
