Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead end-to-end SEO strategy (technical, on-page, off-page)
Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
Optimize website structure, meta tags, headings, content, and internal linking for SEO
Collaborate with content team to guide SEO-friendly content creation
Perform regular technical SEO audits and coordinate with developers to fix issues (e.g., crawl errors, page speed, schema)
Build and manage backlink strategies, including outreach and digital PR
Monitor and report SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices
Analyze traffic trends and user behavior to improve content strategy and conversion rate
Lead A/B testing of meta descriptions, headlines, and landing pages to improve CTR and engagement
Provide monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights
Requirements:
4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (preferably in both agency and in-house roles)
Strong understanding of Google algorithms, ranking factors, and search engine behaviors
Proficiency in SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms like WordPress or Shopify
Solid analytical and Excel skills; ability to turn data into strategy
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and mobile SEO
Familiarity with content marketing, UX, and conversion optimization
