SEO Manager

to lead and execute data-informed SEO strategies across a mix of in-house and client websites. You'll serve as the point of contact for SEO performance, collaborating cross-functionally while driving measurable outcomes.

Position Summary:



The

SEO Manager

will own the full lifecycle of SEO strategy and execution across both our company website(s) and a growing portfolio of client projects. This includes managing technical SEO, content optimization, on-page & off-page, keyword strategy, and analytics while also providing direct client communication, reporting, and SEO consultation.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to individual client goals and industries. Conduct SEO audits (technical, on-page, off-page) for both internal and client websites. Research and maintain keyword strategies aligned with business objectives. Optimize existing website content and coordinate new content creation with content and copywriting teams. Oversee backlink building and off-site SEO efforts (earned media, directories, digital PR, etc.). Work closely with web developers to implement SEO best practices, troubleshoot indexing/crawl issues, and support structured data/schema integration. Monitor rankings, traffic, and search visibility using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and others. Present monthly performance reports and insights to internal leadership and clients in a clear, data-driven format. Stay current with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and emerging tools--and proactively adapt strategies accordingly. Manage multiple client accounts and ensure timely delivery of SEO tasks, audits, and updates.

Required Qualifications:



3-4 years of proven experience in SEO management, preferably in an agency or multi-client environment. Deep understanding of current SEO best practices (technical, on-page, and off-page). Proficient with SEO tools: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc. Experience in managing or collaborating with web developers and content teams. Strong communication skills, able to translate technical SEO findings into business-friendly insights for clients. Ability to manage multiple SEO projects and client expectations simultaneously. Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience working in an agency or consulting environment. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics as they relate to SEO. Understanding of local SEO, international SEO, or eCommerce SEO strategies. Google certifications (Analytics, Search Ads) are a plus. Familiarity with reporting dashboards such as Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio).

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?600,000.00 per year
