Tasks Creating a Roadmap and Ensuring Smooth Functioning Create and execute detailed roadmaps for Onpage optimizations Create and execute a detailed plan for off-page optimizations such as link building: Internal, Inbound, and Outbound links for SEO Plan and execute a content marketing strategy to engage an audience Scaling the organic traffic growth and brand visibility across a business and increasing rankings Plan production of videos to engage an audience and increase rankings Build, maintain and grow the marketing pipeline of organic leads to hit sales target revenue (Prospects, Leads, MQLs, SQLs) Execute successful SEO strategies Agreeing on Roadmap with SEO Director, Other Stakeholders, and ensuring multiple machines run on time and timelines are being met Competition - Perform competitive analysis to Analyze competitor strategies on on-page, off-page, content, campaigns, etc. Identify missing opportunities Suggest improvements & drive growth Analytical Skills, Reporting via Tools Familiarity & Hands-on experience with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends, SEMRush, AHrefs, GSC, etc.)* Ability to do deep data analysis and drive recommendations to senior leadership An analytical mindset and a very good understanding of business-savvy SEO KPIs Collect data, prepare & present reports on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects to all the key stakeholders Strong Collaboration, Communication & Team Management Skills Work with Global Marketing Director to define, develop, and execute an SEO strategy (on-page & off-page SEO) and work with internal teams to drive traffic & new customer acquisition to meet forecast Excellent people and project management skills Collaborate with : Web developers, Marketing team, Social media, PPC team, Design team, Engineering team, Product & Technology team etc. for new SEO initiatives for better visibility that shows business impact Build and retain a best-in-class team through strong recruitment, mentoring, and career management Past experience in managing a team KPI & Business Metrics Develop and track SEO-specific KPIs to monitor performance and understand which initiatives drive revenue and influence customer behavior, e.g. visibility, indexing, and ranking Identify and measure key SEO KPIs such as Top keywords, Top pages Click rates, Bounce rates, etc., and other KPIs Maintain a central sheeter for all SEO performance, and daily/ weekly checks on the performance of all the articles for all the keywords, - Pillar page, Blog Pages, etc. Report performance of all SEO marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) to all the key stakeholders/ senior management SEO Future Trends - Stay up to date with Latest SEO and digital marketing trends SEO best practices Search-related industry changes and acting as our in-house expert on new approaches to SEO Gap Identification & Process Optimization Content Optimize website content, landing pages, pillar pages, homepages, etc. Lead and plan the overall Content Marketing effort, SEO analysis, and recommendations Identify gaps in Content Strategy, build and implement the roadmaps for the same, and prioritize & deprioritize tasks according to the long-term and short-term objectives Offpage (Link Building) - Direct off-page optimization projects and outreach campaigns (guest posting, link-bait, content, PR, social media) leading to a noticeable improvement in organic rankings(e.g. link-building) Keyword Research Regularly perform thorough KR & Identify gaps in the KR approach Mapping the performance of these keyword themes weekly/ biweekly basis and taking appropriate action to streamline the process around them Helping content team to identify high converting keywords via keyword research Technical SEO Review technical SEO issues such as regular site audits, and site crawling and recommend fixes Lead comprehensive technical site audits on desktop and mobile to identify gaps Leading technical SEO analysis, identifying and executing website optimization Analyze website architecture and suggest improvements to identify issues and opportunities Recommend SEO best practices regarding website architecture, UI/UX, content coverage, linking, and other factors Conversion Rates Creating dashboard and reports for management to show progress MoM on business metrics like Transaction, Conversion Rate, Brand vs Generic, MOM performance, etc. along with traffic and rankings Establish stable conversion rate from organic leads by Lead, MQL, SQL SEO Metrics Leverage tools to monitor and improve SEO metrics such as crawl rate, indexation, and SERP rankings for relevant Metrics: Roadmap Timelines deadlines Ranks Improvements (Critical Keywords/ Themes) MQLs (Opportunity Size) Revenue Requirements: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in SEO - Organic Domain Previous 5 years of experience handling an SEO Organic team Has a proven track record of successful execution of SEO strategies Super Passionate about SEO and the overall industry new trends Familiarity & Hands-on experience with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends, SEMRush, AHrefs, GSC, etc.) Wingify is a remote-first company with employees spread across India and other countries.
