About the Role
We are looking for a
proactive and experienced Link Building & Outreach Specialist
to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring high-quality backlinks through manual outreach, guest posting, content/ blog writing and strategic collaborations. The candidate
must come with their own outreach database
and a strong understanding of SEO and backlink-building strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a
link-building strategy
to improve domain authority and organic rankings.
Create high-quality, engaging articles and content
Demonstrate a strong understanding of different types of backlinks
Identify and reach out to
relevant websites, bloggers, influencers
, and media outlets for link opportunities.
Leverage your
existing database
of publishers and contacts to secure high-quality backlinks.
Pitch
guest posts
, collaborations, and link exchanges that align with SEO goals.
Monitor backlink profile, identify toxic links, and coordinate removal/disavowal as necessary.
Collaborate with the content team to create or request content tailored for outreach and backlink placement.
Track outreach efforts, maintain communication logs, and generate detailed reports on link-building performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and Google algorithm updates, ensuring compliance with white-hat practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in
SEO outreach and link building
.
Must have and maintain an
active, high-quality outreach database
(blogs, publishers, influencers, etc.).
Proven track record of acquiring high-quality do-follow backlinks from domains with a minimum Moz DA of 40+.
Strong knowledge of
SEO tools
like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, BuzzStream, Hunter, etc.
Must now the
AI automation tools
and tricks to reduce the manual work.
Excellent communication and persuasive
writing skills
for effective email outreach.
Familiarity with
Google Search Console
,
Google Analytics
, and backlink auditing tools.
Ability to analyze and report on link-building metrics, effectiveness, and ROI.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple outreach campaigns at once.
Good to Have
Experience with
local SEO
and citation building.
Understanding of
anchor text optimization
and link diversity strategies.
Prior experience in the
Education/Ed-tech
industry is a bonus.
Agency experience
preferred.
