Content Writer & SEO Intern Overview

We are seeking a talented Content Writer & SEO Intern to create optimized, engaging content that drives organic traffic and conversions. This role combines creative writing ability with technical SEO expertise to develop content strategies that improve our digital presence and search rankings.

Responsibilities

Create high-quality, SEO-optimized content for websites, blogs, and digital channels Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify valuable targeting opportunities Implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices across all content Develop content strategies aligned with business objectives and SEO goals Optimize existing content to improve search visibility and user engagement Work with web development team to address technical SEO considerations Track content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven improvements Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices Manage content through various CMS platforms
Requirements

Proven experience in content writing with a strong portfolio of published work Thorough understanding of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, technical) Experience with keyword research tools and methodologies Proficiency with CMS platforms (WordPress, etc.) and SEO tools Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and other performance tracking tools Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills Strong research abilities and attention to detail Ability to write engaging content for diverse audiences and industries
Preferred Qualifications

Background in digital marketing or journalism Experience with content marketing strategies Understanding of UX principles as they relate to content Knowledge of HTML basics for content optimization Familiarity with competitive analysis techniques
