. The intern will support the team in improving website visibility and search engine rankings while learning the latest tools and strategies in SEO.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in keyword research and analysis for SEO campaigns.
Support in on-page optimization (meta tags, headings, URLs, internal linking, etc.).
Help monitor and report on website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
Conduct backlink analysis and assist in link-building activities.
Support in preparing SEO audit reports and competitor analysis.
Collaborate with the content team to optimize blogs, articles, and web pages for SEO.
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and industry practices.
Perform day-to-day SEO tasks as assigned by the SEO Specialist/Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in
Marketing, Business, IT, Communications, or a related field
.
Basic knowledge of SEO, search engines, and digital marketing concepts.
Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz - preferred but not mandatory).
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Enthusiasm to learn and grow in digital marketing.
