We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The intern will assist in improving website visibility on search engines through keyword research, on-page optimization, content support, and performance tracking. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn practical SEO skills in a real-world environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct keyword research using SEO tools (Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.)
Assist with on-page SEO activities including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content optimization
Support content teams with SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, and web copy
Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Assist in technical SEO audits (site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing issues)
Research competitors and industry trends
Help build backlinks through ethical off-page SEO techniques
Prepare basic SEO reports and insights
Requirements
Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engine algorithms
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, or SEO tools is a plus
Strong analytical and research skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
Understanding of content marketing and blogging
Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
